On Friday, Oct. 13, CDI hosted its second annual benefit golf tournament at Green Valley Country Club in Greenville, SC. The group of pastors, community leaders and CDI supporters enjoyed a beautiful day and a great time of fun, fellowship along with a ministry update.
Congratulations to the first-place team of John Hutcheson, Nick Poss, Ken Howell and Drew Schmidt for the 18-hole competition. Receiving second place honors was the team of Heston Blake, Jeff Clemens, Larry Burford and Robert Pinson. Rounding out the top three, the third place team was Andy Croston, Bill Fusco, Doug Luman and Jay Harlan.
Highlights from the day included an increase of golfers, sponsors, prizes and ministry support income over last year’s inaugural event. As planned, proceeds from the event will be used to further implement CDI’s international discipleship initiatives entering into 2018.
