In November of 2015, the CDI executive board of directors unanimously approved Jason Little to become the new leader of the organization, and on January 1, 2016, Jason officially made the transition from Director of Development to President. Jason has served on the CDI staff since July of 2014.
Jason is now focused on leading the overall vision and day-to-day operations of the ministry, including managing office staff, corresponding with international directors, implementing new curriculum and promoting the ministry. Jason is an ordained local church pastor, holds two masters degrees in ministry and is currently enrolled in a doctorate program. “I believe the most fruitful days of CDI’s ministry are ahead,” says Jason. “It is exciting to see what God is doing, and we are eager to see what God has in store in the future.” Connect personally with Jason via Twitter or email.
Concurrent with Jason’s transition, Paul Miller transitioned from serving as the President to serving as the Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors. Paul will now utilize his gifts and focus his efforts on leading the executive board and building relationships with donors. Paul’s wife Deanna is also retiring from serving as our Administrative Assistant and Coordinator of Student Services. Paul and Deanna have faithfully served this ministry for over five years. CDI board, staff and ministry partners around the world are extremely grateful for their years of service.
With this transition comes the opportunity to restructure our staff and operations. We have already hired two new administrative assistants to help manage our website, communications, database and student enrollment.
We’ve also had almost 20 new individual students enroll via our website this year. Some of these students discovered CDI through an online search and enrolled in one of our many courses in order that they might grow in their personal knowledge of God and His Word. This reminds us that many people are looking for solid Bible materials that will challenge them spiritually as they grow in Christ. The new CDI online platform pairs biblical discipleship with loving accountability to encourage students in their personal and spiritual growth.
We have many other exciting plans for 2016 that we look forward to sharing with you in the upcoming months. Thank you for partnering with us, and we appreciate your ongoing communication and support for us in prayer. We also appreciate your financial support as you are able.
