For the last few months we have highlighted the continued work of the Gospel that God is doing through our CDI National Discipleship Partners Pastor David Akondowe from Tanzania, and Dr. Peter Cho from Myanmar, Malaysia and Singapore. We will continue these reports in the coming months.

Any dynamic ministry experiences changes in all aspects of the ministry including leadership and CDI is no exception to this. Rev. Jason Little has resigned as the Executive Director to follow his passion of church planting. Jason has accepted a church planting position with Storyline Fellowship in Arvada, Colorado. Paul Miller has accepted the dual role of Board Chairman and Executive Director under the guidance of the Executive Board of Directors. Please pray for Jason and his family as they make this transition. Please also pray for Paul and the Board of Directors as they endeavor to lead the organization where God would direct.

Also, any dynamic organization will remain loyal to its roots and CDI is no exception to this rule. Historically, our vision and communication has been limited to the distribution of lessons, awarding of certificates, and graduation of students through the use of these courses around the world. This model continues as CDI has an online learning management system which currently hosts self-study courses and has the potential to be used in multiple languages worldwide.

CDI courses have also been successfully used in prison ministry for over 20 years. We regularly receive written requests for correspondence studies because of word of mouth testimonies from prisoners. This is the testimony of one man who recently requested to take the CDI course: “I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior 3 years ago…I fight the spiritual battle daily and I want to keep my faith and my walk strong with the Lord Jesus Christ”. J.W. Many of the CDI graders have been encouraged with the growth the prisoners have experienced through their daily walk through God’s Word.

CDI has a solid 35-year history of global discipleship ministry, and we are grateful for the path God has laid for us for future ministry.

Would you consider a special financial gift today to support the following endeavors:

  1.  $5000.00 for the support of the prison ministry and the online learning management system
  2.  $250.00 for printing and distribution of lessons for training of pastors in Zambia under the leadership of CDI National Discipleship Partner Pastor David Akondowe
  3.  $9,000.00 to enable 2 CDI representatives to travel to Singapore and Myanmar to help train future pastors under the leadership of CDI National Discipleship Partner Dr. Peter Cho.

We greatly appreciate your continued commitment to CDI by staying informed, praying for us and financially supporting this ministry as we faithfully carry out our mission of empowering Christians to make disciples and carry out the Great Commission.
