CDI Presents at BJU Missions Emphasis Week
CDI presented its ministry at Bob Jones University’s annual Missions Emphasis Week Oct. 19-22. Over the four-day event, missionaries and representatives from various missions organizations interacted with faculty, staff and students at their mission displays, in classrooms and even in evening prayer groups in the residence halls.
The theme for this year’s event was “The Conquest of Grace” based on Romans 15:15-16. Concerning the theme, Mark Vowels, BJU Director of Missions, said, “Missions is all about grace! Grace saves and grace transforms. Grace enables and grace motivates. Grace triumphs over law, over sin, over idolatry, over addictions, over traditions, over everything that stands in its way.”
CDI President Paul Miller and Executive Director Jason Little were able to share CDI’s ministry to dozens of students and BJU staff members as well as missionaries from other organizations. Most were eager to hear about the recent name change and new ministry vision to provide a viable online discipleship tool for global missions through the new learning management system.
We are thankful for the opportunity to make friends and tell our story, and we look forward to further interaction with those we met at this event. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter to receive regular news and ministry updates.
