Last month, heavy rains and mudslides devastated several communities just outside Freetown, Sierra Leone. The local government charged CDI national partner, Pastor Solomon Mansaray with caring for around 200 people in the aftermath of the crisis. Solomon contacted the CDI home office with a plan to purchase rice to help feed families who lost everything in the event.
Our constituents responded to the need, and we were able to send financial support to Solomon who then purchased and distributed the food. The pictures below show Solomon distributing the food and praying for God’s blessing. A special thanks to those who responded and gave toward this specific need.
