Peter Cho serves as our national discipleship partner in Singapore and Myanmar. On Dec. 16, Peter received a D. Min. from Union University with a dissertation titled “A Christian Witnessing Strategy to Theravada Buddhists Migrant Burmese Workers in Singapore.” Peter serves as a local church staff pastor in Singapore among over 140,000 Burmese migrant workers. He actively evangelizes, disciples and trains leaders to return to Myanmar prepared to make disciples and plant churches.

Earlier this year, a CDI board member visited Peter in Singapore and videoed him outlining, as God permits, CDI’s ministry vision in Myanmar:

CDI has three primary objectives for the work in Myanmar in the first six months of 2018:

  1. Send Peter to each of Myanmar’s seven states to visit converts who have returned home from Singapore and evaluate ministry needs and opportunities
  2. Assist Peter planning and conducting a 1-2 week pastoral training seminar in Myanmar
  3. Evaluate the need for a permanent ministry base in Yangon under Peter’s direction

Would you prayerfully consider a gift to help us achieve these objectives? Please continue to pray with us as we strive together for the advance of the gospel!
