CDI ministry partner David Akondowe in central Africa reports that the Rwandan government has recently closed more than 700 churches. According to David and the news report, the churches that are targeted for closure have pastors with little or no theological training. This action further highlights the need for pastoral training in the countries of central Africa. CDI is working closely with David and his network of leaders to aggressively train more pastors to serve churches, preach the gospel and maintain harmonious relationships with local governments.
